Project Manager (Marketing Background)

About the role

We’re launching a new product for our customers and we’re looking for a Project Manager with a marketing background to lead the rollout end-to-end on a 3 month contract. This role sits at the intersection of product launch, customer communications, and cross-functional delivery, you’ll coordinate stakeholders, manage timelines, and ensure we hit adoption targets.

What you’ll be responsible for:

  • Own the full implementation plan: scope, milestones, budget, risks, dependencies, and delivery schedule
  • Coordinate internal teams (Operations, Billing, Sales, Customer Service) and external vendors/partners
  • Run project meetings: kick-offs, weekly stand-ups, status reporting, stakeholder updates, post-launch reviews
  • Create and manage implementation runbooks, checklists, and launch readiness gates
  • Build the go-to-market plan in collaboration with Sales/Customer teams
  • Develop customer launch communications (email/SMS, website updates, FAQ, sales enablement materials)
  • Track launch performance and optimise based on data (conversion, uptake, churn indicators, customer feedback)

What you’ll bring:

  • Proven experience as a Project Manager delivering cross-functional launches (product, service, or GTM)
  • Marketing background is ideal: campaign planning, customer comms, launch messaging, and performance measurement
  • Excellent planning and documentation skills (timelines, runbooks, reporting)
  • Confident working with data and metrics to evaluate success and drive improvement

Nice to have:

  • Experience in utilities, telco, internet products, SaaS, or subscription services
  • Experience launching white-label products or partner-led offerings
  • Familiarity with customer onboarding flows, billing processes, and operational readiness planning
