Why this role?
This is a newly created role within LPE’s Sales & Development Team, designed to elevate proposal sophistication and governance to Tier 1 standards. This role will lead the creation and management of complex, multi-utility bids for large-scale developments and strategic portfolio opportunities, ensuring LPE secures transformational deals aligned with its growth ambition. You’ll own strategic bids end-to-end and have direct access to the Group Executive – Development & Sales.
What you’ll do:
- Build and run a structured bid governance process to Tier 1 standards, bringing consistency, speed and win-rate uplift.
- Lead complex tender responses (technical, commercial, legal) and coordinate inputs across operations, finance and compliance.
- Build strong relationships with OEMs, consultants and capital partners to enhance LPE’s solution stack.
- Develop innovative pricing and capex/opex models; advise the Pricing Committee to develop competitive offers.
- Act as the primary liaison for strategic clients during bid phases, ensuring clarity, responsiveness and professionalism.
- Track bid metrics and codify lessons learned so each proposal is better than the last.
What success looks like:
- Converting a live pipeline to accelerate service point growth to meet targets
- Lifting conversion rate and win count of Tier 1/2 bids
About you:
- Proven bid/tender management experience in utilities/infrastructure/property development.
- Strong commercial acumen with complex financial models.
- Confident stakeholder manager and negotiator.
- Familiarity with multi-utility solutions (EN, HW, Solar/Storage, EV, Billing) is preferred.
