Quality Officer

Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Quality Officer to join our team. The Quality Officer will be responsible for ensuring that our aged care facility and services meet the highest standards of quality and compliance. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of quality management systems and be able to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement quality control policy and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
  • Conduct regular audits of processes, products, and services to identify areas for improvement
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement corrective and preventive actions
  • Monitor and analyze quality metrics to identify trends and opportunities for improvement
  • Provide training and support to employees on quality management systems and best practices
  • Maintain documentation and records related to quality control activities
  • Participate in customer and regulatory audits as needed

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g. quality management, clinical)
  • 3+ years of experience in a quality management role
  • Strong understanding of quality management systems (e.g. ageing Australia etc.)
  • Experience with auditing and root cause analysis
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
