Key Responsibilities:

Training and Development:

– Assist in fabricating, assembling, and installing sheet metal products.

– Learn to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.

– Safely operate hand and power tools, as well as sheet metal machinery.

Fabrication and Assembly:

– Measure, cut, and shape sheet metal to specifications.

– Assist in welding, soldering, and riveting metal parts.

– Assemble and install sheet metal components for various projects.

Quality Control:

– Ensure all work meets quality standards.

– Inspect finished products for accuracy.

– Make adjustments or repairs as needed.

Team Collaboration:

– Work closely with experienced sheet metal workers.

Maintain tools/equipment

Participate in team meetings

Qualifications:

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent

Enrollment/completion of a sheet metal apprenticeship program preferred

Skills:

Basic knowledge of hand/power tools

Attention to detail/accuracy

Good physical condition

Excellent communication/teamwork skills
