Due to continued growth, we are seeking Construction Workers with remediation experience to join our team.
The Opportunity:
You will be involved in the repair and rehabilitation of concrete infrastructure, working as part of a
skilled remediation crew delivering projects across Queensland. Opportunities to work nationally will also be available
The role includes hands-on work across a range of specialist remediation activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Concrete repairs and patching.
- Installation of structural repair mortars and grouts.
- Crack injection and sealing.
- Installation of sacrificial anodes / cathodic protection systems.
- Surface preparation including grinding, hydro-demolition and jackhammering.
- Application of protective coatings and membranes.
- Formwork and placement of repair materials.
- Structural strengthening works.
- Working at heights and in confined spaces on infrastructure assets.
About You:
We are particularly interested in candidates with concrete remediation experience. However,
we will also consider strong tradespeople and labourers who want to develop specialist skills. Your experience will include:
- Previous work with a concrete remediation contractor.
- Experience with repair mortars, grouts, and structural repair products.
- Concrete repair and patching.
- Surface preparation.
- Understanding of protective coatings application.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- High attention to detail.
- An unwavering commitment to safety.
- Physically capable of hands-on construction work.
- Willingness to learn specialised remediation techniques.
- Ability to travel and work away when required.
A trade background in carpentry/plastering/painting/blasting or concreting will be well regarded.
