Description

We’re looking for an Accounts Administrator who thrives in structured, hands-on operational work and takes pride in getting the detail right. This role is grounded in financial processing, systems, and compliance. You’ll manage core accounts payable and Housie financial operations while also supporting broader finance activities that contribute to accurate reporting and organisational efficiency.

This is a permanent part-time position (4 days per week) based at our Alexandria office, supporting both Accounts Payable and Housie financial operations.

Reporting to the Senior Accountant, you’ll gain exposure to end-to-end accounts payable processes and Housie operations, building strong capability across financial systems, controls, and compliance.

This is ideal for someone who:

  • Is ready to move beyond transactional processing into broader finance support and operational improvement

What this role is really about: 

  • Processing supplier invoices and expense requests accurately and on time
  • Preparing payment batches and supporting bank uploads
  • Maintaining supplier records and financial data integrity
  • Performing reconciliations and resolving discrepancies
  • Supporting the Senior Accountant and finance team
  • Managing Housie portal session processing
  • Filing Housie documentation for audit compliance
  • Supporting stocktakes of gift cards and vouchers
  • Managing purchasing and payment processes for Housie operations

About you

  • 2–4 years’ experience in accounts payable or a similar finance role
  • Understands financial systems and processes and how they work together
  • Experience using ERP systems (e.g. Salesforce, Finance Force or similar)
  • Brings solid MS Excel skills (intermediate to advanced)
  • Highly organised with strong administrative discipline
  • Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy
  • Manages time effectively and meets deadlines consistently
