CONVEYANCING ADMINISTRATION ASSISTANT ROLE, DARWIN

An exciting and fast-growing national law firm is seeking a highly motivated and determined person to join our Darwin team in a conveyancing administration role with a view to learning conveyancing long term. This is a rewarding position, suitable for someone who enjoys a challenge, and who has an interest in property and conveyancing. On the job training will be offered to the successful applicant.

You’ll be required to work collaboratively in a high-pressure environment which means you will need to display a high degree of emotional intelligence, the ability to follow process, and meticulous organisational skills.

Day to day duties include:

  • Preparing settlement packets for property sales and purchases
  • General office administration
  • Daily visits to the Land Titles Office to complete the filing of Settlements and Transfers
  • Attending banks for cheque collection and delivery
  • Liaising with clients, banks, brokers and other professionals.
  • Learning conveyancing admin to support the wider business during down times

To be successful in this role you will need to demonstrate that:

  • You have completed year 12 or equivalent
  • You hold a current driver’s license
  • You are able and willing to undertake a criminal and bankruptcy check

Previous customer service experience, office experience or a certificate in business or finance is an advantage but is not required.
