We make Seasonings, Sauces and BBQ products that well sell throughout Australia into BBQ stores, Butchers and Independent Supermarkets. The Role:

This role of Production Hand/Weigh up is responsible for supporting various stages of the production process in the manufacturing of seasonings and sauces who will report to the Production Team Leader. This includes ingredient preparation, mixing, packaging, and ensuring quality control throughout all processes. The ideal candidate will be a team player with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to producing high-quality food products. With a wider team playing role to assist other area’s in the operations team.

A primary part of this role will be heavy manual lifting, weighing multiple products precisely and would most suit someone with a forklift licence. Please do not apply if you cannot achieve this.

Daily Tasks & Responsibilities would look like:

  • Weigh up: Weighing up of ingredients, preparing for blending.
  • Mixing and Blending: Operate mixing and blending machinery to combine ingredients into final products.

  • Packaging: Assist in the packaging process, ensuring products are filled, labeled, and sealed correctly.
  • Preparation of Ingredients: Measure and prepare ingredients accurately according to recipe specifications.
  • Quality Control: Perform regular quality checks on ingredients and finished products to ensure compliance with food safety standards and company specifications.
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Maintain a clean and safe work environment, including cleaning equipment and production areas according to health and safety guidelines
  • Compliance: Adhere to all food safety regulations, company policies, and operational procedures.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with team members and supervisors to meet production targets and improve processes.

Our Ideal candidate will require to have the following attributes:

  • Previous experience or ability to weigh products precisely.
  • A Drive to make their space their own, drive change and make the workplace 1% better everyday.
  • Previous experience in food production or a related field is preferred but not required.
  • Highly motivated and results driven person with outstanding communication skills
  • Enthusiasm and willingness to learn with a can do attitude
  • Dedication, reliability, commitment and a strong work ethic
  • Forklift ticket preferred

  • Full Time. Monday – Friday with occasional Saturdays when busy
