About the role:
We are seeking a proactive and organised After-Hours Administrator Leader to oversee a small, dynamic team delivering critical support services outside standard business hours.
This role is responsible for leading an after-hours function that manages incoming calls relating to housing maintenance requests and public car park enquiries. You will ensure responsive service delivery, coordinate subcontractors for urgent works, and maintain accurate system records—while
also driving improvements in team utilisation and efficiency.
Importantly, this role offers the opportunity to shape how the after-hours function operates, working closely with Contract Managers to identify meaningful work streams that support broader operational teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, coach and support a small team of staff operating across evenings and weekends
- Manage and optimise weekly rosters to ensure adequate coverage and efficiency
- Coordinate responsive maintenance works by engaging subcontractors in a timely manner
- Oversee accurate data entry and case management across multiple systems
- Handle escalations and provide hands-on support during after-hours shifts
- Collaborate with Contract Managers to identify tasks suitable for after-hours delivery
- Develop and deliver training, including creating simple “how-to” video resources
- Ensure team members are confident across all systems and processes
- Drive continuous improvement in service delivery and team productivity
About You:
You are a motivated and hands-on leader who thrives in a structured yet evolving environment. You bring strong organisational skills and a proactive mindset, with the ability to identify gaps and implement practical solutions.
You will demonstrate:
- Proven experience in team leadership or supervision (ideally within a service, call centre or maintenance coordination environment)
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels
- High attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities
- Confidence working across multiple systems (experience with scheduling or maintenance systems highly regarded)
- A collaborative approach with the ability to influence and build relationships with internal stakeholders
- Initiative to identify opportunities to improve team utilisation and effectiveness
Why Join Us?
- Opportunity to lead and shape a growing after-hours function
- Supportive and collaborative team environment
- Autonomy to drive improvements and make a real impact
- Stable role with a balance of leadership and hands-on responsibilities
