To thrive in this role, you will also need:

  • Knowledge of WHS legislation, codes of practice and contemporary safety practices.
  • Confidence working with leaders to improve safety systems, reporting and risk controls.

  • A relevant qualification in work health and safety or a related field; or an equivalent combination of relevant experience, education and training.
  • Current Class C driver’s licence.
  • Current Tasmanian Registration to Work with Vulnerable People, or willingness to obtain.

Experience in Education and Care, community services, not-for-profit or another regulated human services environment would be highly regarded.
