About the position…
Coordinate and manage a caseload of clients:
- Working alongside women over the age of 50 and sole parents / carers experiencing financial hardship to map out tailored pathways forward, to find and engage with services and supports, and to link into peer networks
- Engage with clients to understand their needs without judgement or interpretation, working alongside them to overcome barriers to accessing supports or navigating their goals
- Support clients’ choice and control, supporting them to grow in confidence to support themselves and others in the future
- Maintain appropriate case documentation and confidentiality
- Participate in the prototyping of a peer and/or volunteer role, and once designed work alongside peer and/ volunteers to best meet the needs of the Linker clients
- Build relationships with key agencies and service providers, gaining understanding of effective ways to navigate their services and systems
- Contribute to the network of Linkers to aid in practice development and learning, and ongoing development of the Linker program
- Able to communicate with Linkers from the network effectively to consult on providing culturally safe and responsive practices with clients to further develop their skills and knowledge.
- Work with Linkers and the Wyatt Linker Relationship Manager to scope, develop, test, and evaluate the Linker Program and its elements
- Contribute to information sharing and data collection for evaluation purposes
- Notwithstanding the above, other duties as reasonably directed.
We currently offer full-time vacancy (1.0 FTE each) on fixed-term contracts for a period of 12 months.
Key Responsibilities…
- Provide complex case management responses for individual clients.
- Undertake risk assessments and safety planning.
- Establish, build and maintain strong relationships with the females/males in the program.
- Working within a team under the direction of the Program Coordinator and Senior Manager.
- Development and implementation of quality case plans.
- Be proactive in advocating on behalf of individuals and liaise regularly with other service providers for a collaborative approach in supporting clients.
- Administrative tasks and record keeping.
- Assists in the production of reports regarding program progress and results.
- Promote and implement quality service responses that are underpinned and informed by KWY values and service delivery model.
- Be aware of Aboriginal cultural practices and seek cultural consultation to promote inclusive practice.
- Ensure that all clients’ contact and engagement is appropriately documented and recorded on the data management system.
- Work in collaboration with Department for Child Protection.

Job requirements…
- You must hold a current South Australian Driver’s License or a license which permits you to drive in South Australia.
