Summary:
The Medical Leader, is responsible for leading and growing the Medical Team to drive strategic initiatives and manage key accounts to deliver business growth. This role is pivotal in executing the Medical market strategy and developing the skills of the Medical team.
As a dynamic people leader with strong commercial acumen, you will champion new ways of working, embed data driven decision making, implement field coaching routines, and expand market influence across key channels including Primary Care, Specialists, Surgical, and Active Ageing.
This role reports to the Medical Partnership Leader and is part of Medical Partnership Team located in South Melbourne. This role is responsible for the Queensland and New South Wales territory, will be primarily based in Brisbane and require travel across the region.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
Lead & Develop a High Performing Team
- Coach and mentor a medical sales team to foster a high performance, results driven culture.
- Deliver in field coaching and structured training workshops to enhance team capability.
- Lead monthly Medical team meetings.
- Prepare and participate in Medical sales team development workshops.
Drive Strategic Growth & Market Execution
- Lead strategic regional initiatives and develop new high value relationships.
- Expand market share through direct engagement with medical partners.
- Participation in quarterly business reviews in the region.
Embed Excellence in Planning & Data Driven Execution
- Embed new ways of working by coaching the team to effectively use CRM and data platforms.
- Utilisation of in-field coaching tools and resources.
- Guide the team to leverage data insights to maximise customer opportunities.
- Strengthen territory and commercial planning discipline.

Qualifications:
Required
- Proven track record in sales leadership within a medical, pharmaceutical, or life sciences business.
- Demonstrated ability to coach at all levels and build high performing teams.
- Strong commercial acumen and business development capability.
Desirable
- Tertiary qualifications in Science/Health Sciences or related discipline.
