3 days per week | Hybrid (Macquarie Park & WFH)
KidsXpress is a children’s mental health charity helping to transform the lives of children impacted by adversity. We deliver trauma-informed Expressive Therapy to children under 12, alongside Education Services for parents, teachers and professionals who care for them.
We are seeking a Donor & Engagement Lead to strengthen donor relationships, improve supporter journeys and support the growth of our individual giving and community fundraising programs.
Reporting to the Head of Communications & Fundraising, this role focuses on donor care, engagement and data-driven growth. Working closely with the Marketing Services Manager (P2P fundraising & events), you’ll help ensure supporters feel valued, informed and connected to the impact of their giving.
This is a practical, hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys relationship building, systems, and improving how supporters experience KidsXpress.
We know flexibility matters so this role is offered 3 days per week with a hybrid mix of office-based and remote work.
Key Responsibilities
- Grow and strengthen the donor database through practical acquisition and engagement opportunities
- Develop and improve donor journeys, including welcome, onboarding, updates and retention touchpoints
- Use Salesforce to manage supporter records, segmentation, reporting and data quality
- Support stewardship of event participants and community fundraisers
- Respond to donor enquiries and provide thoughtful, timely supporter care
- Represent KidsXpress at donor meetings, small events and supporter engagements
- Assist with donor communications, EDMs and supporter-focused content
About You
You’ll be organised, warm and data-confident, with:
- At least 2 years’ experience in fundraising, donor care, customer service or community engagement
- Practical experience using Salesforce (essential)
- Experience managing or growing a database and using insights to inform communications
- Strong written and interpersonal communication skills
- A genuine interest in building meaningful donor relationships
Experience in the not-for-profit or a values-driven organisation is desirable.
