Diesel Trade Assistant

We are currently seeking a motivated and experienced Trades Assistant to join our team in a full-time permanent position, supporting our workshop and field operations.

About You

• Minimum C Class Driver’s Licence, Truck license and advantage  
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screen
• Forklift Licence (highly regarded)
• Previous experience in a workshop, construction, or civil environment (Preferred)
• Experience working with plant and equipment or earthmoving machinery (advantageous)
• White Card (required)
• Motivated self-starter with a an-do attitude and strong communication skills
• Commitment to safety, quality, and compliance standards

About the Role

Reporting to the Plant & Logistics Manager, your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting with the maintenance and servicing of plant and equipment
• Supporting tradespeople in both workshop and field environments
• Carrying out general workshop duties including cleaning, preparing, and organising equipment
• Assisting with basic mechanical tasks and inspections
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and compliant workspace at all times
