Rostering Coordinator (NDIS) – Full Time | Work From Home

About the Role
We are looking for a Rostering Coordinator who understands that rostering is more than filling shifts – It is about matching the right people to the right participants at the right time.
You will manage rosters across SIL respite and community supports ensuring stability, consistency and responsiveness across services. This is a fast-moving role where priorities can shift quickly so you will need to stay organised, think ahead and communicate clearly.
This is a work from home position, however you will need to be highly responsive throughout the day.
What You Will Be Doing
- Build and maintain rosters across all service areas
- Fill shifts proactively including short notice and urgent gaps
- Match staff to participants based on skills preferences and compatibility
- Monitor staff availability and ensure rosters remain compliant
- Communicate with support staff (Behaviour Therapy Assistants), Team Captains and leadership daily
- Identify risks gaps and patterns in rostering and take action early
- Maintain accurate records and ensure alignment with SCHADS Award and NDIS expectations
- Work alongside HR and Operations to support workforce planning

What We Are Looking For
- Experience in rostering within NDIS or community services
- Strong working knowledge of ShiftCare
- Experience with Employment Hero or a similar system
- Understanding of SCHADS Award and workforce compliance
- Ability to manage competing priorities without losing detail
- Clear and confident communication style
- Strong problem solving skills and ability to think ahead
- Comfortable working independently in a remote setting
