About the role
As a Parts Interpreter, you’ll manage the end-to-end parts process and be the key point of contact for our workshop and service teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Sourcing stock from OEM and other suppliers.
- General parts administration duties as required.
- Supply and invoicing of parts to Trade, Service and Pre-Delivery departments.
- Conduct sales transactions with customers by telephone, internet, e-mail, eBay and over the counter.
- Prepare and assist in annual stock take.
- Carry out parts delivery when required.
- Picking and packing orders for dispatch when required.
- Processes of quotes, orders and invoices, and checks for accuracy and completeness of all related documentation.
- Adheres to efficient order process including with incoming orders accuracy and accordingly.
- Maintains integrity of DMS through regular update or upload of information.
- Proactively follows up on stock returns and customer credit requests.
- Ensure competency and diligence in cash handling, EFTPOS and associated receipting and documentation.

- Previous experience in parts interpretation or automotive parts operations.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills to liaise with workshop teams, suppliers, and customers.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced dealership environment.
- Problem-solving mindset and proactive approach to challenges.
- Knowledge of parts systems, stock control, and ordering processes.
- A team-focused attitude and commitment to supporting colleagues.
