Are you a hands-on IT Infrastructure Specialist who enjoys owning and optimising end-to-end environments? We’re looking for someone to be the on-site expert at Jowett Motor Group, driving secure, reliable, and scalable technology solutions across the business.

In this role, you’ll act as the sole on-site technology specialist for our environment, managing infrastructure, supporting users, and partnering with external vendors to deliver reliable and secure systems. Your work will span network management, cloud and on-prem infrastructure, automation, and security, ensuring our technology supports business performance and growth.
Working closely with internal teams and external partners, you’ll play a key role in modernising infrastructure, improving operational efficiency, and maintaining high levels of system performance and security.

In this role, you will:
- Manage and optimise network infrastructure, including ISP connectivity, performance, and security.
- Act as the key liaison with external IT vendors and service providers.
- Administer server environments, databases, and corporate systems across the business.
- Maintain backup systems (CommVault & Veeam) and ensure disaster recovery readiness.
- Configure and manage secure remote and cloud access solutions.
- Implement automation using Microsoft Power Automate to improve efficiency.
- Deploy and manage Microsoft Intune packages and Group Policy updates.
- Support and resolve escalated IT issues across hardware, software, and systems.
- Deliver end-to-end technical support across all JMG services.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation and procedures.
We’re looking for someone with:
- Proven experience managing IT infrastructure in complex or enterprise environments.
- Strong networking knowledge, including segmentation, firewalls, and security protocols.
- Hands-on experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, and Azure.
- Experience with Microsoft 365, Entra ID, and endpoint management (Intune).
- SQL Server administration and system deployment experience.
- Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
- Experience supporting hybrid (cloud and on-prem) environments.
