The Psychologist provides trauma-informed psychological assessment and clinical intervention for individuals impacted by the Bondi incident, utilising a variety of trauma informed modalities.

About the Role
As a Psychologist, you will:
- Provide trauma-informed psychological assessments and therapy
- Develop individualised treatment plans aligned with best-practice models
- Deliver evidence-based therapies such as CBT, ACT and other trauma-informed approaches
- Provide short-to medium-term therapeutic interventions
- Conduct risk and suicide/self-harm assessments
- Develop safety plans and crisis support strategies
- Maintain accurate and compliant clinical documentation
- Work collaboratively with community stakeholders and referral services
- Support clients experiencing trauma reactions, grief, distress, and disruption
About You
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Registration as a Psychologist with AHPRA
- Strong clinical assessment, formulation and therapeutic skills
- Experience providing trauma-informed psychological support
- Experience working with individuals with complex psychosocial needs
- Ability to provide compassionate, accessible clinical guidance
- Understanding of community mental health systems and referral pathways
- Strong communication and engagement skills
Mandatory Requirements
- AHPRA registration as a Psychologist
- Working With Children Check
- NDIS Worker Check
