The Role

As a Sales Engineer, you’ll help grow adoption of JET Charge’s EV charging solutions through electrical contractors.

You’ll work across prospecting, solution development, and pipeline progression – engaging early with customers, shaping commercially and technically viable solutions, and helping move opportunities through to delivery readiness. This role suits someone who can build trust quickly, communicate clearly, and work confidently across both technical and commercial conversations.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Build, qualify, and progress a pipeline of commercial EV charging opportunities managed through a CRM platform.
  • Educate customers on EV charging fundamentals, design considerations and JET charge solutions.
  • Develop solutions that are technically sound, commercially workable, and aligned to project requirements. You’ll act as a trusted technical and commercial advisor in EV charging decisions.
  • Establish and manage strong relationships across key electrical contractor accounts.
  • Work closely with internal delivery, CX, and operations teams to ensure opportunities progress within commercial and delivery constraints.
  • Share market feedback and recurring friction points to help improve internal alignment, documentation, and scalability over time.

What You’ll Bring

  • Experience in a technically led sales, engineering consulting or infrastructure focused roles.
  • Strong understanding of electrical infrastructure, EV charging systems, and how commercial projects are delivered
  • Confidence working with contractors, builders, and other technical stakeholders.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport in early-stage conversations.
  • Curiosity, coachability, and the judgement to know when to push forward and when to escalate.
  • High diligence in follow up, communication and attention to detail.
  • Commercial judgement and the ability to balance customer needs with delivery reality.
  • Comfort operating in ambiguity — this role requires judgement and trade‑offs, not just producing specifications or pushing deals through at all costs.
  • Exposure to electrical contracting, engineering consulting, EV charging, construction, or infrastructure environments will be well regarded.
