About the role
Are you ready to lead high-profile, technically complex projects and collaborate with clients nationwide? As a key member of the Hobart Contaminated Land Management (CLM) team, you’ll play a crucial role in supporting diverse and interesting clients and projects in Tasmania and across borders. This position offers significant career advancement opportunities while working with our in-house Auditors.
Tasks and responsibilities
- Lead and manage projects, ensuring project scope, schedules and budgets are met to achieve client satisfaction.
- Produce high-quality accurate technical reports and complex proposals.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships, delivering excellent customer service.
- Mentor and supervise project team members, fostering a collaborative and supportive work
environment.
- Contribute to business development initiatives and the growth of our organisation.
- Provide high-quality consultancy services to our valued clients.
About you
- Tertiary qualification in Environmental Science or Engineering, or similar is essential, with an understanding of earth sciences highly desirable.
- Over seven years’ experience in contaminated sites assessment and management.
- Strong technical knowledge and high attention to details.
- Strong written communication skills with the ability to write and review technical reports.
- Ability to scope and price proposals.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain client relationships.
- Established client/industry/regulator network and willingness to actively drive business
development and contribute to the continued growth of TAS and national business.
- Full driver’s licence and willingness to obtain a police and medical clearance.
- Previous environmental consulting experience is highly desirable.
