The role

JMV is seeking an inspirational and vibrant Wellbeing and Lifestyle Officer to join our team (4-5 days per week) in Woolwich, casually.

Our Wellbeing and Lifestyle Officers are responsible for delivering high quality lifestyle services that empower and support residents to engage in meaningful activities, to maximise their independence, improve and maintain their health, wellness and quality of life.

You will plan, implement and evaluate a wide range of programs, tailored to residents’ preferences and abilities, supporting them with social, emotional and physical wellbeing.

Who we are looking for

  • Cert IV in Leisure & Health and/or relevant tertiary degree required
  • Demonstrates experience in conducting leisure and social events
  • Demonstrates understanding of associated Aged Care accreditation standards
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Passion about healthy ageing and creating an environment that will promote quality of life for our residents
  • Experience in undertaking regular consultation with older people to suit each resident’s need
