We’re looking for a Lending Support Specialist who thrives on conversion, customer relationships, and commercial outcomes, someone who loves driving momentum and delivering exceptional customer experiences while being part of a high-performing, values-driven team.
The Role:
As a Lending Support Specialist, you own and drive Jacaranda’s end-to-end car loan journey – from Conditional Offer through to Settlement. Your focus is simple: maximise funded outcomes while delivering a seamless, professional customer experience.
You will:
- Proactively engage customers (calls, SMS, email) to drive momentum
- Manage document collection and verification
- Coordinate with vehicle sellers and dealerships
- Manage insurance requirements and settlement documentation
- Ensure compliance and accuracy prior to funding
- Reduce time-to-settlement and remove friction
- Work closely with Credit Assessment to resolve bottlenecks
- Engage customers in Pending Contracts to maximise completion rates
- Communicate clearly with customers in Conditional Offer stage to drive completion
- Manage post-decline enquiries, reviewing updated information and guiding next steps
- Identify process improvements that enhance conversion and customer satisfaction
Your success will be measured by:
- Conversion performance (approval to settlement)
- Speed to settlement
- Funded volume
- Customer satisfaction
- Compliance quality
You’ll thrive here if you:
- Have 2–3 years’ experience in a customer service, support or sales role – ideally in finance, broking or automotive
- Have experience managing loan documentation and insurance coordination
- Are confident in proactive outbound communication
- Are commercially minded and driven by conversion results
- Are highly organised and process-oriented
- Are comfortable working towards KPIs and performance targets
- Can communicate complex information clearly and confidently
- Take initiative and solve problems before they escalate
- Care deeply about quality, compliance and customer outcomes
- Bring good energy, humility and a team-first mindset
- Believe in being 1.1% better every day
