ITEC Group is a purpose driven, NDIS registered provider delivering person centred services across disability, health, youth and community sectors. We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to lead the clinical intake, assessment and onboarding function for ITEC Health.
This role is critical to ensuring that all new and transitioning participants are clinically appropriate, risk assessed, workforce informed and sustainable, while supporting safe, ethical service growth.
Reporting to the CEO – Health, you will provide senior clinical oversight and governance across intake decisions, care pathways and referral relationships, ensuring alignment with NDIS Quality Standards, clinical governance frameworks and organisational capability.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead and oversee clinical intake and assessment for new and existing NDIS participants
• Conduct and review comprehensive clinical assessments, identifying complexity, risk,
staffing requirements and cost drivers
• Ensure intake decisions are clinically sound, risk aware and workforce sustainable
• Provide clinical input into participant suitability, service capacity and growth decisions
• Strengthen ethical referral pathways with hospitals, allied health professionals,
support coordinators and community services
• Ensure compliance with NDIS Practice Standards, Quality and Safeguards requirements
and clinical governance frameworks
• Contribute to incident management, audits, safeguarding and continuous improvement
• Use intake and assessment data to inform service planning, quality improvement and
risk management
• Oversee and support general care delivery
About you
You are a clinically credible leader who brings sound professional judgement and confidence operating in complex, regulated environments. You are comfortable balancing participant safety and evaluating clinical risk, workforce capacity and organisational sustainability.
Essential Criteria
• Degree qualified Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration
• Demonstrated experience in clinical intake, assessment and care coordination
• Strong working knowledge of NDIS Quality Standards and clinical governance
• Experience managing complex participants and safeguarding considerations
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
• Analytical capability and evidence-based decision-making skills
