IOR might be the greatest Aussie success story you haven’t heard of… yet.
From humble roots in Eromanga, QLD, we’ve been fuelling the furthest corners of Australia for over 40 years. But we think the most exciting journey’s still on the horizon.
Joining IOR means stepping into a role where your work genuinely matters. Whether you’re supporting customers, keeping operations moving, or helping shape the future of our specialty products network, you’ll be part of a team that backs you to grow, learn, and make an impact. This is your chance to contribute to a business that’s still building, still innovating, and still driven by the same determination that started in the red dirt of Eromanga.
About the role
As Warehouse Supervisor (HyBlue & Specialty Products), you’ll be responsible for the day‑to‑day supervision of warehouse operations at our Radar Street facility in Lytton. You’ll ensure safe, efficient and accurate handling of inventory while leading a small team to deliver strong operational outcomes. Working closely with sales, logistics, customer service and finance, this is a hands‑on leadership role where you’ll play a key part in service delivery, inventory accuracy and continuous improvement across our specialty products network.
Key responsibilities:
- Supervise daily warehouse activities including receiving, storage, picking, packing and dispatch to meet service and safety standards.
- Lead, coach and support warehouse team members, driving engagement, performance and a safety‑first culture.
- Maintain accurate inventory through cycle counts, stocktakes, FIFO practices and investigation of variances.
- Ensure compliance with HSE requirements, conducting safety checks and reporting hazards and incidents.
- Work cross‑functionally with sales, logistics and finance to support specialty products growth and efficient distribution.
What you’ll bring
You’re an experienced warehouse professional with a natural leadership style and a strong eye for detail. You’re comfortable balancing people leadership with hands‑on operational work and know how to keep things running smoothly in a fast‑paced environment. Experience in warehousing, inventory control and team supervision will set you up for success, along with confidence using WMS/ERP systems and a strong commitment to safety and service.
What you will bring:
- 3–5 years’ experience in warehousing, distribution or supply chain, with previous supervisory or team leadership experience.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet operational deadlines.
- Hands‑on experience with inventory control, cycle counting, dispatch and warehouse best practices.
- Sound knowledge of health, safety and environmental requirements in a warehouse environment.
- Relevant licences such as Forklift (mandatory) and a current driver’s licence; HR licence desirable.
