In this role, you’ll be part of a development team hyper focused developing airport fuel sites, manage end-to-end capital projects, and act as the key liaison for airport owners, councils and regulators. You’ll bring deep aviation fuel expertise, strong project management capability and a safety-first mindset to ensure compliant, high-quality outcomes in some of the country’s most unique and remote operating environments.
About the role
lead the charge in finding and negotiating with airports for the development and delivery of aviation fuel infrastructure across regional airports, ensuring safe, compliant and commercially sound outcomes. Acting as the key link between airport owners, councils, regulators, engineers and internal teams, the role drives new site development, oversees fuel‑related capital projects, and identifies opportunities to grow our aviation network while maintaining the highest standards of safety and regulatory compliance.
- Lead the identification, assessment and development of new fuel farms and regional airport infrastructure
- Act as the primary liaison for airport owners, local councils, regulators and key external stakeholders
- Manage end‑to‑end fuel infrastructure projects, from feasibility and budgeting through to commissioning and handover
- Work with the sales team to identify growth opportunities and expand on‑airport commercial activity
About You
You’re an aviation fuel specialist with hands‑on experience in Jet A‑1 and Avgas operations, backed by strong project delivery capability in regulated environments. You understand the unique challenges of working in regional and remote Australia and communicate complex technical requirements with clarity and confidence
- Proven experience in aviation fuel operations (Jet A‑1/Avgas), including storage, handling and quality control
- Strong understanding of the logistical and environmental challenges of working in regional and remote Australia
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate technical requirements for non‑technical stakeholders
- A safety‑first mindset with experience in risk assessment and incident prevention, plus willingness to travel frequently (up to 50%)
- Ability to obtain an ASIC
