Go far with IOR
IOR might be the greatest Aussie success story you haven’t heard of… yet. From humble roots in Eromanga, QLD, we’ve been fuelling the furthest corners of Australia for over 40 years. But we think the most exciting journey’s still on the horizon.
Joining IOR means stepping into a role where your work genuinely matters. Whether you’re supporting critical infrastructure, keeping sites operating safely and efficiently, or coordinating teams and contractors across the country, you’ll be part of a business that backs you to grow, learn, and make an impact. This is your chance to contribute to a business that’s still building, still innovating, and still driven by the same determination that started in the red dirt of Eromanga.
About the role
Due to our network growth, we need a Facilities Coordinator to join our team. You’ll support the Facilities Manager and a well-established team to keep IOR’s sites operating safely, efficiently, and compliantly across the network. You’ll coordinate facilities operations, manage contractors and cleaning teams, and act as a central point of contact for site stakeholders nationwide.
- Coordinate facilities operations across all sites, including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and general maintenance activities.
- Ensure facilities meet regulatory and compliance requirements through inspections, audits, and ongoing oversight.
- Lead and manage a national cleaning team, maintaining consistent standards across all locations.
- Manage subcontractors and service providers to ensure quality delivery and contractual compliance.
- Support facilities projects, reporting, and administration, including scheduling, procurement, and stakeholder communication.
What you’ll bring
You’re an organised and proactive facilities professional who enjoys coordinating people, processes, and contractors to deliver reliable outcomes. You communicate clearly, stay calm under pressure, and take pride in keeping environments safe, compliant, and well-maintained.
You’ll bring:
- Experience in facilities management, maintenance operations, or a related field, with exposure to multi-site environments.
- Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and general maintenance practices.
- Proven ability to lead teams and manage subcontractors effectively.
- Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Confident communication and stakeholder engagement skills across operational and corporate teams.
- A qualification in Facilities Management, Business Administration, or similar is desirable, but equivalent experience is highly valued.
