Description

Integricare is a Christian not-for-profit that has been part of Sydney family life for 140 years. We provide early learning, preschool, supported playgroup, family support, and early intervention. Places where children learn through play, every child is valued, and families are welcomed We are looking for an Assistant Accountant to join our Finance team and help us continue our mission to nurture curiosity, confidence, and faith in our communities.

You will work closely with our Senior Accountant to support the organisation’s day-to-day financial operations. You will join a supportive team that works together behind the scenes to help staff deliver quality services to children and families.

About the Role

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Accounts payable and accounts receivable
  • Journals, reconciliations, and bank reconciliations
  • Assisting with BAS/GST and FBT return preparation
  • Reconciliation of parent fees
  • Banking and utilisation summaries

About You

You hold or are working towards an accounting degree, and are ideally progressing towards CPA or CA qualification. You have solid bookkeeping and accounting skills, experience with Xero, and intermediate Excel ability. You bring strong attention to detail, good written communication, and the organisational skills to manage multiple priorities. You are flexible, proactive, and comfortable working with both external contacts and internal managers.

Experience in the not-for-profit or community services sector is an advantage but not essential.
