About the Role
We are currently seeking a highly capable and motivated Graduate / Junior Civil & Structural Engineer to join our team. This role is ideal for an early career civil / structural engineer who is ready to take ownership of engineering challenges and play a role in the delivery of multi-disciplinary projects.
Position Summary
You will be responsible for delivering civil / structural engineering design and documentation across a range of industrial and infrastructure projects. The role includes technical delivery, client engagement, and internal team work, ensuring engineering solutions are practical, compliant and aligned with project objectives
Key Responsibilities
- Complete structural design and documentation work across a diverse range of projects.
- Design of foundations, pavements, drainage and general civil works associated with industrial facilities.
- Ensure technical quality and compliance with relevant standards and client requirements.
- Attend client and contractor meetings and contribute to design coordination.
- Prepare technical specifications, calculations, and reports.
- Conduct site inspections and provide field engineering input as required.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of engineering templates and workflows.
Skills & Experience
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil / Structural Engineering.
- Minimum 2 years’ work experience within Australia (any industry), with preference for engineering-related roles.
- Can do attitude and ready to learn.
- Strong technical design and analysis skills.
- Clear and confident communicator — both written and verbal.
- Full Australian working rights and valid driver’s licence.
Desirable: (Not mandatory)
- Exposure to site-based or construction-related work.
- Experience with AutoCAD, Revit, or other 3D CAD platforms.
- Project management or coordination experience.
- Familiar with project budgets, schedules, and reporting expectations.
- Client-facing experience.
- Familiarity with Australian engineering standards.
