IAG is recognised as Veteran Friendly Employer under the Veteran Employment Program.
The Role
The Land Network Integration Centre (LNIC) is responsible for advising and directing Army’s digital network integration efforts to maximise interoperability across Land, Joint and Coalition environments. Supporting the Army Operating System, the LNIC plays a critical role in ensuring land capability investments are integrated, secure, and aligned to approved interfaces, standards, and operational requirements.
As a System Security Analyst within the LNIC Security Assessment and Advice (SAA) team, you will support the assessment and authorisation of Land Mission Systems under the Defence Cyber Security Assessment and Authorisation Framework (DCSAAF). Working closely with capability managers, project teams, technical stakeholders, and Defence partners, you will provide cyber security governance, risk and compliance (GRC) advice and contribute to the delivery of security assessments across a diverse range of land systems and deployable tactical networks.
You will assist in the development and review of system security documentation, conduct security assessments, provide contextual cyber security advice, assess changes to approved system baselines, and contribute to governance, policy, and process improvement activities. The role will support systems ranging from standalone applications through to complex deployable networks interfacing with national strategic and coalition environments.
This is a unique opportunity to work within a highly specialised Defence capability environment supporting critical Army programs delivered under the Integrated Investment Program (IIP).

You possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to investigate and understand complex systems and communicate cyber security risks and recommendations clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. You are comfortable working collaboratively within integrated project teams and can confidently engage with capability managers, engineers, technical specialists, and senior stakeholders.
To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:
- Experience in cyber security governance, risk and compliance (GRC), system security assessment, or security authorisation activities
- Knowledge of Defence and Australian Government cyber security frameworks, policies, and standards, including DCSAAF, ISM, PSPF, and related controls

- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills, including the ability to provide clear security advice and assessment outcomes
- Experience supporting governance, assurance, compliance, or technical assessment activities within Defence or Government environments
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and deliver outcomes within tight timeframes
- A collaborative and professional approach with the ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams
