The Role
We require the services of a Land Integration Framework – Digital Subject Matter Expert to work within the Land Network Integration Centre (LNIC). This advanced practitioner will be required to assist the LNIC with the Land Integration Framework.
This role supports the delivery of Army’s Land Combat System (LCS), a networked “system of systems” that enables effective command, control, and decision-making across land operations.
The LCS integrates a range of existing and emerging platforms to ensure the Army can operate as a connected, interoperable force alongside Joint, coalition, and government partners.
You will work within a team responsible for improving how these systems connect and operate together, contributing to the design, coordination, and implementation of digital integration across Army capabilities.
You will support digital integration across a range of major Army capability programs, including combat systems, vehicles, aviation, intelligence, and special operations.
The role also involves collaboration across Defence domains, supporting integration with Joint Force and C4ISR systems.
A minimum of NV1 is required for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the integration of digital systems across Army platforms and programs
- Contribute to the design and implementation of digital integration and interoperability solutions
- Assess and review integration approaches across early project phases (pre-Gate 0 to Gate 2)
- Identify and manage digital integration risks and issues in later project stages
- Work within established governance frameworks to ensure consistent and effective system integration
- Collaborate with technical teams, program staff, and stakeholders to support delivery outcomes
- Provide advice and support to ensure systems are aligned and operating effectively together
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience working with complex ICT or systems integration environments
- An understanding of system interoperability, integration, or architecture concepts
- Ability to analyse, design, and support implementation of technical solutions
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- Experience working within project or program environments (preferably Defence or government)
- Ability to identify risks, solve problems, and contribute to delivery outcomes
