The Role
We are seeking an experienced professional to provide financial management and cost performance support across complex project and program environments.
In this role, you will operate as an embedded member of the project team, supporting the development and maintenance of high-quality cost performance governance and assurance across multiple project lifecycle stages.
You will work closely with stakeholders to ensure accurate cost modelling, reporting, and forecasting, helping to support informed decision-making and project outcomes.
Key responsibilities will be:
- Develop, manage, and maintain cost performance data using established financial and project management tools
- Collaborate with project stakeholders to establish and maintain cost performance models
- Analyse cost performance data, including variance analysis and reporting, in line with industry standards
- Support the development and maintenance of financial artefacts to assist stakeholder engagement
- Contribute to governance activities, including monthly reporting and performance reviews
- Provide timely and accurate reporting, including forecasting insights to support strategic decision-making
- Assist in identifying and assessing financial risks and impacts on cost models
- Support project planning activities, governance forums, and milestone readiness reviews
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience in financial management, cost analysis, or project cost control within complex project or program environments
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and provide meaningful insights
- Experience with cost performance reporting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders across technical and non-technical teams
- Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver accurate and timely outputs
- Experience supporting governance processes, reporting cycles, and project reviews
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present information clearly to stakeholders
An NV1 security clearance is required for this role.
Successful candidates will be required to complete relevant induction and mandatory training as part of onboarding.
