Senior Solution Specialist
Infotrust is continuing to grow our cloud and infrastructure delivery capability, and we’re looking for a senior technical specialist to lead the design and delivery of complex customer environments across cloud, infrastructure, networking, modern workplace, and security technologies.
This role sits within our Delivery function and combines technical project delivery, solution design, customer engagement, and pre-sales support across a broad range of infrastructure and cloud initiatives. Operating across the full project lifecycle – from discovery and technical scoping through to implementation, documentation, operational handover, and early-life support.
The Role
This is a senior hands-on technical role with a strong focus on solution quality, operational supportability, and customer outcomes. Projects span Microsoft 365, Azure, endpoint management, networking, virtualisation, backup and disaster recovery, security tooling, and broader infrastructure modernisation initiatives across mid-market and enterprise environments.
Alongside delivery, the role contributes heavily to technical discovery, solution shaping, effort estimation, and pre-sales support. Strong documentation standards, structured handover practices, and the ability to communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders are all important parts of the role.
This is not a narrow BAU support position. The environment is varied, fast-moving, and heavily project-focused, with a genuine expectation of technical ownership and accountability.
Background & Experience
Well suited to technically strong infrastructure professionals who bring a blend of project delivery capability, customer engagement experience, and broad cloud/infrastructure knowledge.
Including:
- Microsoft 365, Azure, Entra ID / Azure AD, Intune, Defender, SharePoint and modern workplace technologies
- Windows Server, Active Directory, virtualisation, backup and disaster recovery
- Infrastructure migrations, cloud transformation, or environment modernisation projects
- Networking technologies including switching, VLANs, WAN and firewall platforms
- Technical discovery, solution design, estimation, or pre-sales engagement
- MSP, consulting, professional services, or complex enterprise environments
Strong communication skills, commercial awareness, documentation discipline, and the ability to manage competing priorities are all important in this role.
