The Opportunity
We are currently seeking experienced Truck Operators to join our team on a FIFO roster supporting site operations across our mining projects.
This role involves operating an 8×6 Water Cart, Potable Water Truck, and Fuel Pod Truck, assisting with site dust suppression, potable water delivery, and generator refuelling.
About the Role
- 8×6 Water Cart for dust suppression across site roads and work areas
- Deliver potable water to site facilities as required
- Refuel generators and equipment using a fuel pod truck
- Complete daily pre-start inspections and basic equipment maintenance checks
- Work safely in accordance with site procedures and client safety requirements
- Maintain accurate records and report any defects, hazards, or incidents
About you:
- Previous experience operating water carts and/or fuel trucks in mining environments
- Valid HR Driver’s Licence (MC desirable but not essential)
- Water Cart Ticket
- Rio Tinto induction/ticket preferred
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment
- Strong commitment to safety and site compliance
- Ability to pass pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening
