Transport Supervisor – FIFO

Brindabella Resources is an Indigenous‑focused contractor delivering services across Civil, Mining, Maintenance, Oil & Gas and Infrastructure sectors, with a strong commitment to safety and environmental performance.

We are seeking an experienced Transport Supervisor to oversee FIFO site transport operations, ensuring the safe and efficient movement of personnel and assets. This role plays a key leadership function on site, maintaining strong relationships with clients, contractors and internal teams to deliver reliable, high‑quality transport services.

Transport Operations

• Supervise drivers to ensure adherence to schedules, journey management plans and site requirements
• Prepare run schedules and allocate daily tasks and resources
• Conduct daily BAC testing, pre‑start meetings and fitness‑for‑work checks
• Operate buses when required to ensure continuity of service
• Maintain vehicles in a safe, clean and operational condition
• Maintain accurate records, including journey management and servicing reports

Safety & Compliance

• Role model company safety, quality, HR and environmental standards
• Monitor safety performance and address incidents or non‑conformances
• Deliver toolbox talks and safety briefings
• Participate in hazard identification and continuous improvement initiatives
• Ensure effective safety handovers between crews

People Management

• Supervise, support and communicate effectively with transport teams
• Ensure staff are trained, inducted and appropriately rostered
• Manage performance, leave and backfill arrangements

Shutdown Transport Coordination

• Lead end‑to‑end transport operations during mine shutdowns
• Coordinate daily schedules, personnel and asset deployment
• Attend shutdown meetings and provide operational updates
• Resolve issues proactively to ensure seamless shutdown delivery

Client & Stakeholder Engagement

• Act as the primary transport contact for clients and stakeholders
• Provide timely reporting, feedback and operational updates
• Collaborate closely with site and support teams to meet client expectations

What We’re Looking For

• Proven leadership and team management skills
• FIFO or mine‑site transport or shutdown experience (preferred)
• HR or MR Driver’s Licence
• Passenger Transport Driver (PTD) Authorisation
• Senior First Aid Certificate
• Strong safety focus, organisational skills and adaptability
