Description

Indigenous Shared Services Group (ISSG) provides back‑office and operational support and Management of Aboriginal businesses that pool and share resources to support Aboriginal individuals, families and communities to trade, invest and work together towards a self‑determining economic future.

We are seeking an experienced and professional Receptionist / Administration Assistant to join our team. This role is central to the smooth day‑to‑day running of the office, providing high‑quality administrative and reception support across ISSG and its associated companies.

The Role

Reporting to the Business Operations Coordinator, you will be responsible for delivering efficient administrative services and front‑of‑house support in a fast‑paced and collaborative environment.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing reception operations, including phone and visitor enquiries
  • Providing high‑level administrative support to managers and staff
  • Assisting in organising meetings, appointments, corporate functions
  • Adhoc Administrative tasks as required
  • Processing of PPE orders and other supply requests
  • Coordinating special event morning teas for Birthday month, R.U. OK day etc.
  • Managing SharePoint hubs and supporting office systems in line with organisational protocols
  • Supporting day‑to‑day office operations to ensure a professional and efficient workplace

You will bring:

  • Proven experience in a similar receptionist or administrative role (minimum 2 years)
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, SharePoint, Teams, Planner, Lists)
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise competing tasks
  • Strong attention to detail and problem‑solving ability
  • Clear, professional written and verbal communication skills
  • A solutions‑focused mindset and commitment to continuous improvement
