ICLA is looking for an experienced and qualified Residential Care Officer to work in our Marrickville property. This position will be responsible for:

  • Providing direct support and assistance (including personal care, meal preparation and medication management) to our residents who hold complex mental health and psychosocial disabilities.
  • Implementing individual care plans in collaboration with residents, families, and multidisciplinary teams, supporting residents to develop life skills and achieve personal goals.
  • Facilitating social and recreational activities to promote engagement and community integration.
  • Associated administration, documentation, reporting and compliance requirements.

The successful applicant will hold:

  • Strong experience in a similar role within a residential setting.
  • Superior communication skills.
  • At minimum a Cert IV in Disability or similar relevant qualification.
  • First Aid/CPR Certificate, driver’s licence and NDIS Worker’s Check.
  • Full unrestricted rights to work in Australia.
