LIST OF TASK/RESPONSIBILITIES
– Experience in geotechnical engineering design and be able to provide assistance to other disciplines in delivering projects.
– Able to deliver the development and implementation of geotechnical field exploration and laboratory testing programs, geotechnical analyses, preparation of geotechnical
data and design reports, development of works specifications, and providing support during project construction.
– Technical skills that are required to serve in this geotechnical role include, but are not necessarily limited to, knowledge and experience in soil investigation, geotechnical
design (earth retaining structures, deep foundations and shallow foundations, slope (rock and soil), ground improvement) and preparation of technical reports.
– Preparation of design drawings, specifications and BoQ.
– Manage discussion with the clients and contractors alike in solving technical issues.
REQUIREMENT – Principal Engineer
– Must have atleast 8 – 15 years experience in related field.
– Candidates must possess at least bachelor’s degree in civil engineering and/or Master’s degree in Geotechnical Engineering.
– Registered with BEM as a graduate engineer.
– Candidates with PE & PEPC may be considered for an associate or above positions.
– Required skill(s): MS Office in relevant geotechnical softwares including PLAXIS, slope stability analyses and other relevant softwares.
– Proven working experience in similar capacity.
– Possess good communication skills to liaise with clients or contractors.
– Able to work independently under minimum supervision and to meet the committed deadline.
– Possess Class “D” or class “B license.
