I’m In the Right is Australia’s leading accident management service, helping not-at-fault drivers navigate the stress and disruption of motor vehicle collisions. From 24-hour support and towing to accident replacement vehicles and repair coordination, we handle every step of the process.
We’re looking for a driven State Manager to lead our small Queensland team.
About the Role
As the State Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring a seamless and customer-centric accident vehicle replacement experience. We are looking for a results-driven individual with a passion for the automotive industry and the ability to lead and motivate their team.
This is a hands-on State Manager position designed for an operational leader who enjoys being involved in the day-to-day detail. You will oversee a small Queensland operation of approximately six team members across two locations (Brisbane and the Gold Coast).
The role is intentionally structured as a lean, practical leadership role rather than a large corporate or multi-layer management position. The successful candidate will be comfortable stepping between leadership duties and direct operational tasks as needed.
You’ll be responsible for:
• Leadership:
Provide strong leadership to branch teams, fostering a culture of accountability, teamwork, and exceptional customer service across the 2 locations.
• Operational Management:
Oversee day to day operations, including vehicle readiness, fleet rotations, route planning, and timely vehicle deliveries to ensure smooth and efficient branch performance.
• Team Development:
Recruit, onboard, coach, and mentor team members, supporting them to meet performance expectations and achieve operational targets.
• Customer Experience:
Ensure vehicles are delivered safely, professionally, and on schedule while maintaining high standards of presentation. Address customer needs promptly and uphold exceptional service throughout the customer journey.
• Fleet & Logistics Coordination:
Ensure the vehicle servicing, repairs, cleaning, and rotations, ensuring all vehicles are maintained to company standards and available when required.
• Compliance & Standards:
Ensure both branches adhere to company policies, safety procedures, and operational guidelines, and maintain accurate documentation including online data collection and reporting.
• Performance Management:
Conduct staff performance discussions, address behavioural or performance concerns, and support career progression and development planning for team members.
What You’ll Bring
• Customer service background
• Clean driver’s license and driving history
• Ability to drive multiple vehicle makes and models
• Strong attention to detail
• Staff rostering experience
• Experience with vehicle presentation (washing/cleaning)
• Retail or customer service leadership experience
If you’re passionate about customer service, leadership, and operating in a fast-moving environment, we’d love to hear from you.
