Communications Manager – Remote

Summary:

The Communications Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing communication strategies that effectively promote the organization’s mission, vision, and goals. This role will require excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement communication strategies that align with the organization’s goals and objectives
• Create and manage content for various communication channels, including social media, website, newsletters, and press releases
• Build and maintain relationships with media outlets and journalists to ensure positive coverage of the organization
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistent messaging and branding across all communication channels
• Monitor and analyze communication metrics to measure the effectiveness of communication strategies and make necessary adjustments
• Manage crisis communication and develop contingency plans to mitigate potential risks
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in communication and marketing

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in a communications or marketing role
• Excellent written and verbal communication skil
• Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneous
• Experience with social media management and content creati
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional tea
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
