About the role Bio-Cosmetics Lab is seeking a full-time Process Worker to join our team in Smeaton Grange. As a Process Worker, you will play a crucial role in our Assembly & Process Work operations, contributing to the efficient and high-quality production of our industry-leading cosmetic products.

What you’ll be doing

• Operate equipment and machinery including assisting with setting up, monitoring, inspecting, and cleaning the machinery for filling, labelling, and packing skincare products.
• Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) to maintain product consistency and quality.
• Perform quality checks on in-process items and finished goods.
• Assemble product packaging, packing products in boxes and stacking them onto pallets, carts or trolleys, preparing products for dispatch.
• Checking products to ensure they meet quality standards
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas and equipment.
• Accurately record production data and report any inconsistencies or defects.
• Comply with workplace health and safety, GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), and hygiene standards.
• Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily production deadlines and targets.
• Assist in inventory control and stock replenishment of packaging supplies.

About you

• Previous experience in manufacturing or picking and packing, preferably within the beauty, cosmetics, or pharmaceutical industry (preferred).
• Understanding of hygiene and GMP requirements.
• Strong attention to detail, ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
• Good manual dexterity and ability to stand for extended periods.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Basic numeracy and literacy skills.
• Demonstrates a high level of reliability and punctuality, consistently meeting attendance expectations and delivering work on time.
• Strong work ethic and a great attitude.
