About the role:

Hygain is looking for motivated people to join our production team at our Somersby site. Working in our production team you will be responsible for mixing, batching and pressing ingredients to specified formulations, ensuring you are adhering to our strict quality standards to ensure our products are produced to the highest standard for our customers. Full training will be provided for the right candidates. Day and afternoon shifts available.

About you:

To succeed in the role, you will require:

• Previous experience working in a production environment operating extruder mill and pellet press will be advantageous

• Able to operate a plant automation system preferably ProBatch

• Have excellent verbal and written skills

• A willingness to learn

• Be looking for a long-term career opportunity

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

• A good understanding of Quality, WHS and Food Safety Systems

• Be reliable and motivated to succeed

• Take ownership, accountability and have pride in your work

• Be physically fit to undertake manual and repetitive tasks with the ability to lift up to 20kg

• Can do attitude with a team focus

• Experience in stock feed milling will be advantageous

• A forklift licence is mandatory or the willingness to obtain your licence
