Description

Hutt St Centre’s vision is an end to homelessness. Our mission is to advocate with and empower people at risk of or experiencing homelessness, supporting them to rebuild their lives on their pathway to homefulness.

You will be joining a dedicated and passionate team who works hard to do their part in ending homelessness in South Australia.

How you will make a difference

Reporting to the Manager, Homefulness and Clinical Lead, you will support a passionate and dedicated team who work cohesively within a case management framework to increase wellbeing, build capacity and resilience and achieve sustainable housing independence and community inclusion goals for clients.

This position will be offered on a full-time contract basis until 30 June 2027.

About you

You will be a strong people leader who can inspire others, build team cohesion and capacity and support staff working in a demanding but rewarding environment. Importantly, you will have the ability to be flexible in your response to changing priorities and establish and maintain strong links with stakeholders.   

Your client-centred and non-judgemental approach will be at the forefront of everything you do along with sound administration, research and reporting writing skills and excellent communication and negotiation skills.

With tertiary qualifications in Social Work (or similar) you will have the ability to translate government funding requirements and an understanding of the associated aspects of compliance.  Experience in working with older people experiencing homelessness and knowledge of the Aged Care Quality Standards and My Aged Care would be highly favourable.

You must have or be willing to obtain both a satisfactory National Police Clearance and Working with Children Check and hold an unrestricted drivers license.
