HumanAbility’s objective is to advance education by supporting skills and workforce development

We have an opportunity for a Quality Assurance Coordinator to join us on a full-time basis in an ongoing capacity subject to funding (currently funded until mid-2028). The role may be located anywhere in Australia and will involve travel with overnight stays for organisation meetings, stakeholder meetings, workshops etc.
About the position
This position supports the Quality Assurance Manager and Senior Quality Assurance Coordinator in ensuring compliance and quality of training package products and related materials. This role focuses on day-to-day Quality Assurance activities, reviewing documents, managing enquiries and maintaining QA systems related to training package development.
In addition, this role provides operational support to the Training Product Development team by ensuring the effective use of tools and systems, contributing to the delivery of high-quality, compliant training package products and related materials on time.
Key Accountabilities
Support Quality Assurance Manager and Senior Quality Assurance Coordinator:
- Assist the Quality Assurance Manager and Senior Quality Assurance Coordinator in monitoring and ensuring compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and internal quality policies.
Quality Assurance and Compliance:
- Review and audit training package products and other related materials to ensure they meet established quality benchmarks.
- Assist in documenting systems and processes related to quality assurance and training package development.
Induction and Support:
- Provide ongoing support to team members on systems and processes and the effective use of tools.
- Provide guidance on tools, systems and processes.
Manage Enquiries and Policies:
- Respond to enquiries related to training products, ensuring timely and accurate responses.
Tools and Systems Management:
- Maintain tools, systems and processes to support the training product development team.
Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of QA processes, findings, and corrective actions.
- Prepare regular reports for the Quality Assurance Manager on the status of QA activities, compliance issues, and other relevant metrics.
Continuous Improvement:
- Identify areas of risk and continuous improvement in the training product development and recommend enhancements to the Quality Assurance Manager.
- Participate in continuous professional development to stay updated on best practices and emerging trends in quality assurance and training package development.
Other:
- Observe and follow work health, safety and wellbeing policies and guidelines.
Qualifications and Experience
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field (e.g., Education, Quality Management, Instructional Design) or equivalent experience.
- Experience in a quality assurance role, preferably within a training or educational context.
- Familiarity with tools such as SharePoint, monday.com, MS Teams, and MS Dynamics.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.

Further Information
This is position is offered on an ongoing basis to reflect Department of Employment and
Workplace Relations (DEWR) grant funding.
All appointees must be willing to obtain a police check and Working with Children Check.
There may be times when it is required to work outside normal business hours i.e. evenings and
weekends to meet operational and/or stakeholder requirements, and dependant on work deliverables, the role may be required to undertake travel.
We operate a hybrid working model. While flexibility is supported, the balance of office-based work, in-person attendance at meetings, events, etc and remote work will vary depending on role, location, and business needs.
