We’re looking for a motivated Survey Assistant to join our growing team and learn the ropes of engineering surveying through structured on-the-job training.
About the Role
As a Survey Assistant, you’ll work closely with our Engineering Surveyors and Survey Technicians to support field and office-based surveying activities. This entry-level role is ideal for someone with a strong interest in getting started in the surveying industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with on-site surveys by setting out and marking survey points.
- Help collect and record survey data accurately.
- Support the calibration, maintenance, and transport of survey equipment.
- Communicate with the team to plan work schedules and report on progress.
- Follow company safety procedures and contribute to a safe work environment.
About You
You’re practical, reliable, and eager to learn and will bring the following:
- A strong interest in surveying.
- Great attention to detail and communication skills.
- A willingness to learn and follow instructions.
- A current driver’s licence (essential).
- Working with Children’s Check (or willingness to obtain one).
