Located in the heart of Gippsland, Traralgon Holiday Village is a well-established tourist park offering a range of short-stay accommodation options. With a mix of self-contained cabins, caravan and camping sites, and longer-term stays, the village caters to a diverse range of guests, from overnight travellers to extended workforce stays.

We are currently looking for a casual Housekeeper to join our team. This role is essential in maintaining the high standards expected within a busy short-stay accommodation and tourist park environment.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Housekeeper, you will play a key role in delivering a positive guest experience by ensuring all accommodation and shared facilities are clean, well-presented, and ready for incoming guests.

Working in a fast-paced tourist park environment, you will be responsible for the cleaning of guest cabins, amenities, and common areas, while supporting efficient turnaround times between stays. Your attention to detail and commitment to quality will directly contribute to guest satisfaction.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Clean and prepare guest cabins to a high standard for short-stay accommodation
  • Maintain cleanliness of shared amenities and common areas
  • Ensure rooms are guest-ready within required turnaround timeframes
  • Report maintenance issues as required
  • Support the team with general housekeeping duties across the park

ABOUT YOU

The successful applicant will possess:

  • Previous housekeeping experience (preferred, however training will be provided)
  • Strong attention to detail, particularly in preparing accommodation for incoming guests
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with regular guest turnover
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Friendly, reliable, and guest-focused attitude
  • Willingness to assist with a variety of tasks across the tourist park
  • Availability to work across a 7-day rotating roster, including weekends
  • Availability for an immediate start
  • Basic computer skills (preferred)
