Grounds & Maintenance Officer – Toowoomba Caravan Park

We are currently seeking a casual Grounds & Maintenance Officer to join our team. This role will require you to work across two park locations: Toowoomba Caravan Park and BIG4 Toowoomba Holiday Park.

ABOUT THE ROLE This is a hands-on role responsible for maintaining the presentation and functionality of the park grounds and facilities. The position involves physically demanding work, including regular manual handling and lifting, as well as the safe and competent use of power tools and maintenance equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• General grounds maintenance and landscaping
• Operation of maintenance equipment and power tools
• Upkeep of park facilities and common areas
• Assisting with minor repairs, cleaning, and general maintenance tasks as directed by the Park Manager
• Supporting overall presentation standards of the park

Requirements

• Previous experience in grounds and property maintenance (hospitality or similar environment preferred, but not essential)
• Current Driver’s Licence
• Ability to perform manual tasks, including lifting, carrying and repetitive physical activities
• Demonstrated ability to safely use power tools and maintenance equipment

You will be competent in the use of equipment such as:

• Ride-on mowers
• Hedge trimmers
• Whipper snippers
• Chainsaws
• High-powered hand tools

Remuneration The rate of pay for this role will be in accordance with the Hospitality General Award.
