We are currently seeking a Casual Front Office Receptionist to join our team.

ABOUT THE ROLE This is a hands-on role responsible for delivering exceptional customer service as the first point of contact for guests, while supporting the day-to-day operations of the front office.

This role involves working across two park locations: Toowoomba Caravan Park and BIG4 Toowoomba Holiday Park. Weekend work and on-call availability are core requirements of this position.

Key Responsibilities

  • Welcoming guests and managing check-in and check-out processes
  • Handling reservations and guest enquiries
  • Processing payments and reconciling transactions
  • Providing local area information and guest support
  • Supporting general administrative and front office duties

Requirements

  • Experience in a similar role within the holiday park, hotel, or hospitality industry
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Sound computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Availability across a 7-day rotating roster, including weekends and on-call

You will be competent in the use of equipment such as:

  • Reservation systems (e.g. Newbook or RMS – training provided)
  • Point of Sale (POS) systems
  • Telephone systems
  • EFTPOS and cash handling equipment
  • General office equipment

Remuneration The rate of pay for this role will be in accordance with the Hospitality General Award.
