ABOUT THE ROLE
This role sits within our Legal team and is ideal for a junior lawyer looking to build their career in-house within a collaborative and supportive environment. You’ll work closely with senior team members to provide practical legal support across a broad range of property and commercial
matters, supporting operations across Australia and New Zealand. This is a hands-on opportunity to gain exposure to a diverse portfolio of work while developing your technical skills and commercial understanding.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
- Assist with drafting, reviewing and summarising property and commercial agreements
- Support leasing, subdivision, and planning-related legal processes
- Assist with resident agreements and compliance with land lease legislation
- Support the preparation and review of development and project-related documents
- Provide general legal support across commercial contracts and business operations
- Work closely with internal stakeholders across operations, development, sales and governance
- Assist with company secretarial and corporate governance tasks
- Maintain legal templates, precedents, and internal resources
- Support the legal team in identifying and managing legal risk across the business
WHAT YOU’LL BRING
- Bachelor of Laws (LLB) or equivalent, with a current unrestricted practising certificate
- 1–2 years’ post-admission experience in property or commercial law
- Developing drafting skills with a strong interest in property and commercial matters
- Strong attention to detail and analytical capability
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach
- Eagerness to learn and build a career in an in-house legal environment
- Ability to manage competing priorities with guidance and support
- Exposure to property, leasing, or commercial contracts will be highly regarded
