Our role

We’re seeking a proactive and experienced Legal Secretary to become part of our Litigation team, supporting two of our Partners.  In this role, you’ll be empowered to take initiative and play a meaningful role in the continued success of the team.

The standout candidate will be committed to providing exceptional support and your key responsibilities will include: 

  • monitoring incoming emails and taking telephone calls
  • organising and maintaining client files
  • coordinating monthly billing processes
  • drafting and preparing contract and leasing documentation, based on precedents
  • overseeing archiving and filing systems
  • other ad hoc duties as required

This role offers the opportunity to support a diverse range of litigation and dispute resolution matters, gaining valuable exposure to work across the property, insurance, professional regulation and sport sectors.

About you

To be successful in this role, you will:

  • have strong prior legal administration experience within a Litigation practice
  • have the proven ability to manage a busy role with exceptional organisation and attention to detail
  • be proactive, self-sufficient and detail-oriented, with strong written communication and document management capabilities
  • be well developed in managing conflicting priorities and deadlines
  • have excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
  • be highly proficient with a document management and billing/time recording system
