We’re looking for a Full time Senior Express Agent, a person who is smart and considerate – those that have “nice person” written all over them. We’re after fast-thinking, customer focused problem solvers that take pride in creating and delivering great customer experiences. In this role you will monitor the operations of the Front Desk

and provide support to the Express Agents, taking charge of any escalated issues – so problem solving and thinking on your feet will be high on the agenda!

This role will be working on a 7-day, 24-hour roster.

Responsibilities

  • Love the brand & be a great ambassador of Holiday Inn Express.
  • You will supervise others and assist in the delivery of training in the absence of Management – making your mark and influencing Express Agents to deliver an excellent service.
  • You’ll fulfill Duty Manager shifts in the absence of a Duty Manager.
  • You’ve got a good eye for detail – our processes are super important in helping us deliver a consistent guest experience.
  • You’ll be dealing with a variety of people, so your communication will be adaptable. You’ll be a brilliant communicator – consistently clear and concise.
  • You’ll help us problem solve, as we’re still building our business; we have solutions to find – your logical thinking and collaboration with teams across the business will be key.
  • Enforce work health and safety, exceeding customer expectations, meeting targets, the Express Agents will look to you for guidance – you will take on this challenge and lead by example.

Skills & Experience

  • You’ll have previous experience working as a Guest Service Agent/Night Audit with PMS experience.
  • Professional and personable, with a “role up the sleeves”, can do attitude.
  • You make calm, collected decisions – even against the clock.
  • Strong team working skills and a passion for delivering superior results.
  • Excellent customer service, spoken and written communication & phone skills.
  • You will be required to hold or obtain a First Aid certificate and a RSA Certificate.
  • You must meet the appropriate legal requirements to work in Australia.
